Use of "fascism" to describe Opus Dei (1)

Nice try in applying the category of fascism to OD. Yet, as George Orwell observes, "the word ‘Fascism’ is almost entirely meaningless" since it can be thrown at pretty much anything some decides not to like ("Politics and the English Language"). Your -- rather contorted -- application of "fascism" could be applied, even more exactly, to the Salvation Army (a major charitable organization operating mostly in the US), the soccer teams Inter of Milan and F.C. Barcelona, Greenpeace and, with a stretch of imagination, Shinto religion. I call Godwin on you, brother.
